What is there to do in Meguro?
The answer is plenty! Meguro is well known for the cherry blossoms lining the river in Naka-Meguro during spring, but there are interesting things to do in Meguro all year round!
It is also located right next to the bustling neighbourhoods of Shibuya and Ebisu, but it's much more peaceful!
One of the major attractions is the Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum, which holds various exhibitions of both Japanese and international art. There are also other smaller art and design museums located all around Meguro.
There is also the Institute for Nature Study with a huge 20 hectare park. You can visit the institute and park and learn all about the research being conducted there.
There is also an abundance of restaurants from low end to high end with any kind of food imaginable. Don Quijote, drug stores and 100 yen stores are all nearby and of course plenty of independent small stores.
Meguro Station has an Atre shopping mall and a Nitori connected. It is also on the JR Yamanote line which is arguably the most convenient train line in Tokyo! It also hosts the metro Mita line, Meguro line and Namboku line, allowing for easy access to most of Tokyo!
